A lot changed this year. Adventures were postponed, plans redrawn, and dreams reimagined. We all felt this on a deep level and it’s no surprise that it greatly influenced how every wedding was approached this year. But regardless of the redesign, the shuffle, the last-minute change-ups, there was a profound sense of intimacy that we found this year unlike ever before. Sukhi + Balraj's weekend exemplified this perfectly.
This was a weekend when everything came down to the essentials, the pure essence of what this celebration was all about—two people and their commitment to choosing each other no matter what. Everything about these moments and their significance became so much more real. Sure, the venues looked a bit different, the guest list a bit smaller, but there was a magic to this weekend that engulfed all of us. The closest of the close family and friends gathered together to celebrate in the backyard, dancing under an open sky, drinking and cheering to a new chapter ahead, with the glow of party lights and fireworks all around us. There is nothing more that we could have ever dreamed for these two.
This is exactly how it was always meant to be. This most intimate of settings, this purest of joys. There's a long road ahead for our world. While we hope and pray we are out of this global crisis soon, we are also hoping that this sense of closeness, this magic that we found in weekends like this, never goes away.

It's a week for giving thanks. A time for reflecting on the things we've experienced, the people we've been blessed to meet, and the moments that made us laugh, cry, and beam with joy. Elise + Tommy are high on this list for us. They are two of the sweetest, most welcoming humans you can meet. From the first time grabbing coffee with them, we felt like old friends—and we were so cared for by them.
That’s the thing that stands out to us the most. These two love deeply and display grace and compassion to everyone they meet. It’s no wonder that their tribe adores them and so readily pours love right back on them. There’s nothing that could characterize this day better than that honestly. This was a celebration of two humans who do nothing but love others in all that they say and do.
We are so honored to have shared in their day, to have paid witness to all the joy and admiration, to document all the excitement and heartfelt moments. Thankful barely begins to describe how we feel about Elise and Tommy, but it’s a good start. Wherever you find yourself this holiday week, may these two remind us of all the ways to care for those around us. Here’s to Mr. and Mrs. Batts!

High school sweethearts turned husband and wife, summer days spent by the lake, and families coming together to (safely) celebrate a new chapter in their shared stories. These are just a few of the things that will get our hearts a-fluttering and they are everything that was Sydney + Jared's wedding!
Looking back on this year as a whole, despite a lot of ups and downs, there have been so many moments that have spoken truth and life into us. Spending the day with these two, their family and closest friends, and the amazing tribe of vendors that rolled with the Covid punches was one of them. Sydney and Jared are two incredibly intentional and sweet humans that we have loved getting to know over the last few months and being trusted to tell this part of their story has been an honor.
We are so excited for everything that is ahead of these two and will be continuing to cheer them on, through masks and all, for the many years to come!

If you are looking to have your spirits lifted, to make you reach for that box of tissues, or simply to remember that love and joy still exist, then you’ve come to the right place.
We could write you a book about how beautiful, heartfelt, and touching this day was. The truth though is that this is Kenzie + Heather’s story and they tell it best. Their vows fill us with so much light and hope every time we hear them and are the perfect reflection of how deeply these two complete each other.
Love is far too simple a word to describe the depth of how much they care for one another. It honestly is rare to find such devotion and commitment in this world these days, but if anything can give us hope for a better tomorrow right now, it is without question K+H.
Forever thankful for their example and the elopement adventure that they invited us to share in. All our love, now and always, to the Promers!
