Garden Party: the Movie Poster

A movie poster is one of the first real tastes you get of a film. It expresses the tone of the world it promotes, welcoming your intrigue with just enough information to make you say, "I'll go see that!" but refuses to give away any details of the plot. But posters are more than just advertisement. Movie posters are art pieces, and when crafted properly, can encompass the feel of an entire film in one image. The poster for Garden Party is no different.

Garden Party is a varied affair, full of moments to make you laugh, characters to make you think, and a world that feels grounded in reality with an atmosphere of something supernatural. But its brightness causes the shadows to be darker than usual, and it's this ominous darkness that the movie poster uses to grab every onlooker with a curious allure...don't you want a sip?

It is with overwhelming delight that we present to you the official movie poster for Garden Party. We hope this will make you even more excited and curious about the upcoming film, and we can't wait to share it with you. Until then, enjoy!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Yes, it's that time of year again - when everyone dresses up in something green, grabs their favorite choice beverage, and friends gather round to pay homage to one of the greats - Saint Patrick.

St. Patrick's Day is arguably the best first holiday of the new year - at least, singles would claim that to be true. But regardless, it's a time of celebrating as spring draws near!

Hope everyone has a very GREEN and SAFE Saint Patrick's Day this year!

Shout out to our favorite Photographer, and friend, Noah PreFontaine for these awesome and hilarious photos! :)

ROBO 3D Printing: Aaron's Story of Empowerment

Anyone who has grown up and gone through elementary, middle, and even high school knows that being different can be difficult at times. Whether that be emotionally different, mentally, or physically - standing out from everyone else can be scary and can make even the toughest of us feel insecure. Now imagine going through that same school experience but with a physical handicap. How much does that intensify the feeling of being different or weird?

For thousands of children who are limb-different from either birth or something that happens to them, this is daily life. But what if you could help them to see their disability as less an identifier and more something that empowers them - and all the while help create for them something that helps them overcome that physical handicap? That's the exact same idea that Aaron Brown had.

After losing his job when the factory he had been working at closed, Aaron started thinking about what was next for him and his family. He began researching the rapid development of 3D printing and took the bold leap to start his own 3D printing company. It wasn't long after this when he discovered ROBO 3D printing and a non-profit group called e-Nable.

e-Nable is a group of printers and developers who create and donate their prosthetic arms to children around the world who are limb-different. Through the printers provided to Aaron by ROBO 3D Printing, Aaron began working on developing his own e-Nable products to help change the lives of families all around the world as well, but also those here in our own community.

Through the innovation and power of 3D printing companies like ROBO, and open source movement groups such as e-Nable, people like Aaron are helping kids to feel empowered and excited about standing out amongst the crowd. This is Aaron's story - leading the way for a more empowered future for our kids.

The CU Student Story

The CU Student Story

At the beginning of the '14-'15 school year we began work with the Cornerstone University Admissions team on a really exciting project: to document the journey of two freshman students, Franklin and Emily, through their entire 4 year experience at CU. The project quickly developed to include a sophomore (Tyler), junior (Murphy), and senior (Nick) representative.

Over the course of that school year we followed each of these five around, talking with them about their academics, dorm life, sports, and all the many other elements that go into shaping their personal stories while at CU. From Franklin's journey as an international student, coming to the states, learning a new culture, and finding a home away from home, to Nick's fond memories of the relationships he built with faculty as he begins to look ahead to life after college; from Emily's exciting freshman experience to the family oriented team bonds that Murphy and Tyler have grown to depend so much on - this film begins to tell the story of what it means to be a student at Cornerstone.

We are so excited to see where these five go, and where their stories lead them. This is their CU student story.

Sejal + Amit: The Patel Wedding Trailer

If we had to describe Sejal + Amit's Wedding Weekend in one word, that word would be FUN! Seriously, these two beautiful souls know what it means to be madly in love, and how to have the time of their life together. There wasn't a single second of this gorgeous three day traditional Indian wedding that wasn't a dream for everyone that was there.

The moment we arrived the night of their White themed Mehndi party we knew we were in for a weekend full of fantastic and memorable moments. From the brilliant and vibrant colors that Sejal chose, the excitement of Amit's Baraat, to their beautiful outdoor ceremony at Frederik Meijer Gardens, we were in love with every detail of this wedding. But more so, our hearts were stolen by these two.

It's pretty obvious to see how someone could fall in love with Sejal+Amit. Both not only display incredible kindness to everyone they meet, they genuinely care if you're having a great time as well. This was a weekend that didn't feel like work; this was a weekend that felt like a never ending celebration with friends.

With all our love we are wishing MR+MRS Patel every happiness in all of life's adventures to come for them!
