Cassie + Joshua: The Teigen Wedding Trailer

There is something so wonderful, so awe-inspiring, so enrapturing about a wedding of friends that you are just overcome with emotions and are filled with this joy indescribable. This perfectly captures what Cassie+Josh's wedding day was for us. Over the last few years we've gotten to know Josh, and subsequently Cassie - the love of his life - and we were so excited when Josh told us he was planning to propose. But we were even more thrilled when he asked if we'd film and photograph that most amazingly special life changing moment. There wasn't a dry eye in the candle lit barn filled with photos of the two of them throughout the years the night Josh asked Cassie to be his wife. More so though, there was no shortage of smiles and unending laughter after she said "yes".

Cassie and Josh have been by each other's side for years now, having fallen in love back in their high school days when they both began to realize how much they each cared for one another, and more so their Creator. It was at a youth group fall retreat that Josh first caught Cassie's eye during a private devotional time. It was in that moment that Cassie thought to herself, "Lord, this is the type of man I want to marry - someone completely and utterly focused on you." It was a passing thought she had, but little did she know this was in fact the man that she would one day call her husband. Over these many years that have followed these two have grown deeper in love with one another, and deeper still into their faith and calling. They beautifully personify the passage in Proverbs 27, sharpening and building one another up to be the best person and Christ follower that they can be.

These two have a love story that makes our hearts melt, not because of chance encounters or long standing love, but because of how selflessly they adore and care for one another. Theirs is a type of love that once you have seen it you are changed truly and wholly for the better. We aren't quite certain where the Lord is going to take them on this big and wild adventure they have set out on together, but we are so excited to be able to walk beside them on that journey, because there isn't a doubt in our minds that they aren't going to do amazing things in this world for the cause of Love.

Here's to these two beautiful and gorgeous souls, their never ending love for one another, and their steadfast faithfulness to their Lord. Here's to MR+MRS Teigen!

Stephanie + Kaveh: Gull Lake Wedding Trailer

The beginning of every wedding season is something we look forward to and when we realized we were getting to kick off our 2016 wedding season with Stephanie + Kaveh we were thrilled! Not only were we excited to spend this late spring day with this bubbly, sweet, and caring couple, we were beyond stoked when we heard that their day was going to be set at the gorgeous W.K. Kellogg Manor House on the beautiful and scenic Gull Lake. And Stephanie and Kaveh's day could not have gone more fantastically!

From an outdoor, lakeside ceremony, to a lush and sun filled garden cocktail hour that made you forget you were in Michigan and instead somewhere in the Tuscan countryside, this was the start of a wedding season every cinematographer and photographer dreams about. But more so this was just such a wonderful day because of the couple we were spending it with! Their adorableness just radiated and they were so much fun to spend the day with. From their adventurous spirit being up for anything (including a dreamy sunset scene) to just being so passionately in love, we were smitten with them.

We are so excited to see what is next for these two, and we are wishing them every single happiness in their journey together as husband and wife. Congratulations Mr+Mrs Sadeghzade!

Cornerstone University 2016 Commencement Series

Commencement is one of the most exhilarating moments of the entire college journey. Walking across the stage to receive your diploma or hood, cheering with your friends as you toss your caps into the air, taking photos with your family who couldn't be prouder of you. It's not just the end of something you've worked towards for 4 years; it's the celebration of a new adventure just before your feet.

We get excited every year to share a few of the stories of Cornerstone University's amazing student body with the CU Commencement Series. This year we had the pleasure of hearing and telling 9 students' stories that range from helping those in minorities achieve their full potential, to former prison inmates that are working to help other prisoners turn their life around through education and outreach. From the classroom to the medical field, from a global marketing corporation to international counseling and social work aid, CU's graduating class is full of amazing students who have already begun doing amazing work in the world around them.

Congratulations to all of the Cornerstone University graduating classes of 2016!

Here's to you, and welcome to the CU Alumni family!

Five Years of Storytelling

Five Years of Storytelling

Five years of storytelling is a truly special moment. From the adventures that have led us across the country, and across the world, to the stories that made us laugh, and those that brought tears to our eyes; storytelling for us is about bringing people to people. To realize, to take a moment and fully recognize, that this has been the journey we have been on for the last five years is unbelievably humbling. To be a part of a much larger story that encompasses our entire world, and to be able to share the stories of those we meet along the way on our own journey - it's indescribable.

For five years we have grown together, we have overcome challenges together, and have continued to learn what it is to be storytellers who love unconditionally, together. From humble beginnings in a college dorm room, to now traveling the world to help share the stories of those in need - and also those working to create a world of peace, a world we all want. It's hard to believe where we are now and who we have become as a team, and more so as individuals.

This year we are celebrating an ongoing journey of storytelling, a continuing adventure; looking back and reflecting, but also eagerly looking ahead to the future. Dreaming of where these next five years will take us, and all the new adventures we'll be going on. And while no one knows what tomorrow may bring with it, we are excited nonetheless, because we are a family of storytellers who tell stories that bring people, to people.

To Tell the Story

If you know us, ever had the chance to connect with us, or have followed us for more than a day chances are you've heard us talk about the work of telling stories. It's core to who we are, and it's what makes us excited to get out of bed every morning. It directs and inspires us and it's what we firmly believe in.

Storytelling is an old art, but it's something that is so intrinsically a part of who we all are that it will never cease to stop bringing us together. From every corner of the world stories have, and always will, bring people of different walks and understandings together. The ability to help play a role in such a moving force makes us ecstatic.

The chance to help share somebody's journey in a way that countless hundreds can connect and relate to them; the ability to help create a place and moment when we engage with something else other than just a pixelated screen; the privilege to help tell and be a part of a much larger story that is at work in our world - storytelling is an unbelievable tool that in many ways marks who we are as a society, community, and world.

From a small business owner here in West Michigan, to a community working to end the threat of Malaria and extreme poverty half a world away; from a couple exchanging their vows on their wedding day, to a dreamer who has a vision of changing the world for the better - everyone's story is collection of characters and adventures that is telling a much larger story - and it's that story that we continue to chase after and tell day after day.

That's what we believe in, and that's why we do what we do; to tell the story of who we ALL are, and where we're daring to go next!

Champagne for my real friends, real pain for my sham friends

Holy wow! It's already the end of another year!

2015 was a whirlwind year for us - in the truly best of ways! Our team expanded adding new roles and facets to our filmmaking abilities, we crafted two new webisode series, produced and filmed our first major film, Garden Party, which we are so crazy excited about, shared in some of the most breathtaking wedding days we have had the pleasure of partaking in, captured the story behind a mesmerizing work of art in the form of stained glass, told countless new stories, and grew closer together as a family of storytellers.

Through the thick and thin, the struggles and the triumphs, the moments of difficulty and the highlights of living the dream of storytellers, we have been blessed beyond measure and are so thankful for everything that has happened in this year. This has honestly been one of the best years and we are so excited for what 2016 has in store for us - here's to the dream of filmmaking, and the continued pursuit of to tell the story!
